The first year we saw one, once, and no more. And for 3 or 4 years, it was the same so I wondered if it was just passing through. But, this year I have seen one about once every week or so.
I just had a look at my Birds Page and I didn’t start putting dates on when we spotted new ones until 2015. So, we’ve been feeding these feathered stomachs for a while. And the nuthatch doesn’t have a date, so it was at least 2014.
The website I had been using to ID birds has shut down. I think I’ll spend part of today switching my links over to the Cornell All About Birds site.
